Health consultations

Hartley Valley Vets provide comprehensive health checks for your fur babies throughout their lives. This is important throughout all stages of life from puppies/kittens to senior pets. Regular health checks are critical to the wellbeing of your loved ones and for early disease detection and treatment.

Vaccinations

Keeping your pet’s vaccinations up to date is crucial for a healthy lifestyle and pet development. Pet vaccines exist to prevent your pet from falling ill. They provide immunity from a range of infectious diseases that can affect your pet.

Parasite control

Both dogs and cats require regular worming to remove parasitic worms which live in the intestine. Flea treatment and control is an important part of parasite prevention in dogs and cats. Adult fleas get their nutrition from biting pets and getting a meal of blood.

Heartworm disease

The worms live mainly in the heart and pulmonary arteries of infected dogs and cats. The disease is not spread directly from animal to animal and an intermediate host, the mosquito, is required for transmission. In house testing allow prompt diagnosis.
