Bianca Clark - Veterinary Nurse

Bianca grew up in Blackheath but now resides in Hartley with her husband, two children and her family of pets which include a Cattle dog and long haired Jack Russell.  Bianca intends to further her studies and work closely with our nurses in training to ensure we can offer our clients and their pets the best possible care.

Bec Thomas - Veterinary Nurse

Bec grew up in the Rockley area, now living in Tarana with her three children and many animals including her four dogs and two cats. Bec was a full time groomer for 17 years with experience in dogs, cats, rabbits and guniea pigs. Bec hung up the clipper and has persued her passion for vet nursing, she is part of the HVV nursing team whilst completing her studies as a Vet Nurse.

Alisa Christie Johnson - Veterinary Nurse

Alisa grew up in Oberon and after finishing school went to Coolah with her partner to work on a cattle and sheep station. She starting working as a Vet nurse in 2017 and has a passion for both small and large animals. Alisa moved back to Hampton where she now lives on a 200 acres farm and runs cattle. Alisa spends most her time looking after their 8 dogs, 4 horses her beloved cat. In her spare time you would find Alisa either horse riding or water skiing. 

Rachel Hopkins - Veterinary Nurse

Rachel has been in the veterinary industry for over 9 years and will be soon graduating from her veterinary technician course. She is a passionate and empathetic nurse who always strives to do her best. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors, travelling or snowboarding.

Lashay Chow - Veterinary Nurse

Ever since she can remember Lashay has always been passionate about animals, especially about nursing and rehoming rescues. She has been in the veterinary industry for over 10 years and her knowledge is expansive. In her spare time, she is a lash and nail technician for her own business Zenful beauty.

Head Vet Nurse - Caitlin Shirlaw

Caitlin joined Hartley Valley Vets early 2021. She has been nursing for 5 years and absolutely loves her job. When not at HVV Caitlin also nurses at ARH (Animal Referral Hospital) in Sydney and brings a world of knowledge with her. When not nursing Caitlin is at home wth her partner Chris looking after their 7 dogs, 3 horses and 1 cat.

Cassie Dick - Veterinary Nurse

Cassie has recently joined our team, she has grown up in the area and alway had a love for all animals great and small. She is a dedicated veterinary nurse, she demonstrates great compassion and expertise in her role. She has been working in the Veterinary industry as a vet nurse since 2019 and is currently studying Veterinary Technology at CSU. In her spare time she likes to hangout at home with her German Shepard Raven and tend to her horse Freckles. With a gentle touch and kind heart, she she tends to animals in need, providing only the best comfort and care to our clients and patients every step of the way. Cassis unwavering commitment to her furry patients and their families shines brightly, making her a beloved member of our team.

Georgia Willis - Veterinary Nurse

Georgia’s journey at Hartley Valley Vets has been nothing short of remarkable. Joining the team in 2020, she immersed herself in the world of veterinary care with passion and dedication. Over the years, Georgia has grown both personally and professionally, honing her skills under the guidance of experienced veterinarians and fellow team members. Now, as she proudly graduates to the role of a vet nurse.

Courtney Martin - Veterinary Nurse

Courtney came to us in December 2023 from Orange where she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is passionate about both small and large animals, taking an interest in large animal medicine along with surgeries. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors with her Cattle Dog Tex along with 4 other dogs and 2 horses.

Bethany Simmons - Veterinary Nurse

I grew up in bathurst and I started nursing in 2016. I have a love for both small and large animal medicine. When not working she spends her time with her partner Tom and their 4 dogs on the farm.

Sophie Gilmore- Veterinary Nurse

Sophie grew up in the Blue Mountains before moving to the Snowy Mountains where she started her career as a Veterinary Nurse 9 years ago – Sophie has worked in many different roles as a veterinary nurse including equine, general practice, emergency and surgical. Residing in Hartley with her two border collies, Taz and Spook. Sophie is a passionate and caring nurse who prides herself on high quality patient care.
