Couldn't have been any more caring or concerned with our poor sick furbaby. They kept us informed, sent us home in the... evening with instructions how to care for him and welcomed him back the next day for more care. Would recommend these vets to anyone with their pets for check up or emergency care.read more

They were so supportive and bent over backwards to make sure that my German Shepherd girl's pups were delivered safely.

Struggling to understand why we were not offered the same level of care or concern for our sick and injured young cat... as others were in these reviews...Our cat suffered a horrific and painful death at home after a week long illness and a few days care at Hartley Valley Vets.No follow up or explanation from Hartley Valley Vets.read more

My little boy cat buddy was extremely sick when I got him and came home one day after six when all the vets had closed... and knew I had to put him out of his misery as he had become paralysed when I got home. I called Hartley vets in hysterics and they were so calm and helped me through it and stayed open for me to bring him down. They were so good to me and made me feel better and I really appreciated their service. Despite the outcome of what had to be done they made it so much easier with their care and helping me through it.read more

✨🐾 Introducing Dr Cillian Coleman!

You may have seen this familiar face whizzing around the practice recently! Cillian has been a familiar locum for Hartley Vets over the years but has now accepted a permanent position with us! We are thrilled to have you Dr Coleman!
________________________________

After knowing he wanted to be a vet from the age of 4, Cillian went on to graduate from the University of Sydney and began mixed practice work in the Central West. Since then, he has spent a few years as a locum. He has a keen interest in true mixed practice and a desire to offer as many services for as many species as possible. Since graduating he has completed courses in Equine Dentistry, Point-Of-Care Ultrasound, Small Animal Fracture Repair and in 2023 was admitted as a member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS).

Coming to Hartley Valley Vets, he hopes to continue to expand his skills further to offer more for his patients and clients in the years to come. When not working, Cillian loves his sport, woodworking, gardening, and bushwalking, but he loves nothing more than spending time with his dog/best friend/travel companion, Oisín – affectionately called ‘Oosh’ by all others

I can speak first Hand, he is a very special vet, nothing phases the man, he goes out of his way to explain and confirm why he has come up with his Diagnosis for your pet, he really does care, welcome aboard the Heartly vets family🙋‍♀️🐈

So glad to see Cillian becoming permanent there, he was so calm and skilful with stitching my mare

Would be nice since we paid for blood tests that you would give the results not say she needs to be booked in first the blood tests were paid for so why do we need to pay to get results again

Thankyou for looking after Blinky (Husky)for the past couple of months or more actually . With your care and guidance we are are healed !

Yay finally more vet's welcome 🤗

She has healed really well

Chloe Hile
